Neighborhood Anti-Crime Team (NACT)

Sergeant Jon Gutierrez (jgutierrez@cob.org) will be the new supervisor effective 01-14-2014.  Officers Bean, Bourgault, Freeman and Harper all will be returning in 2014 as members of the Neighborhood Anti-Crime Team and will continue to do an excellent job for you and your neighborhoods.


Planning Commission Meeting Re: Cornwall Park Neighborhood

Materials for the Planning Commission meetings can be found at http://www.cob.org/government/public/boards-commissions/planning-materials.aspx at least one week before the meeting date.


November 21, 2013 – Public Hearing  on amendments made to the Cornwall Park Neighborhood Plan and zoning regulations. Work Session on the amendments proposed to the PRO plan for which a public hearing was held on November 7, 2013.

The Cornwall Park Neighborhood Board met with city planners and we agree with the proposed amendments.


Quick Update:

A public meeting will be held about a proposed new project at 300 East Sunset Drive.

The project involves converting the Smoking Sam Mini Mart to a drive-through pharmacy and GNC store.

The meeting will be held at Sunnyland Elementary School at 2800 James St. at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28. The meeting is required by the city before land use permits can be submitted.

Our Annual Picnic will be on Saturday, August 24 at 6:00 pm

We’ll be at Broadway Park, on the east side of Cornwall Avenue

We’ll eat and visit then watch an outdoor movie
